366-16: Bird Seed

Yep, bird seed!  Petey the Cockatiel shared his feed with me for this texture shot.  Grab it and have some fun!

Texture 366-16 Bird Seed

I’m not feeling particularly creative today, so my example isn’t likely one to get you excited over using this one … however, before I removed it from over the man’s face in my image, I noticed that fiddling with the opacity gave a pretty cool reptilian feel to his skin – I bet some of my awesome readers can come up with a wow! photo from the seed image!  For my example, I’m playing around, looking for something to use to help keep Indie the Cocker Spaniel (and the man’s hand) from blending so much into the concrete pavement behind her.  This texture does just that.  If I was feeling particularly into the image, I’d also skew the texture overlay so the feed would mirror the perspective on the image for a truer look.

Please do post links to projects where YOU have used this provided texture and tell us how you tweaked it to fit your needs.  Feedback is welcomed! All textures are available for personal or commercial use. They are NOT allowed to be resold or to be claimed as your own.  Just click through for the larger size file, right-click that one and save the texture to your own computer.  My sample uses of the texture are not available for any use.

Now – if you’ve gone wild with a texture and just LOVE it … a small donation showing that love sure would be appreciated (but is not mandatory).   Just go to PayPal.com and send your donation to DogBreedz (at) yahoo.com.
Happy Texturing!
