Welcome to 2012 – and welcome to 366 Textures – a year’s worth of daily textures, offered up for your use, free of charge!

Why am I doing this?  Well, who couldn’t use another project in her life?  A ha ha ha ha!  OK, now that I’ve recovered from that thought:  the truth … as I’ve grown as a Photographer and Graphic Designer, there have been many many others in my fields on the ‘Net who have helped, educated, contributed and so forth.  So MANY wonderfully talented folks out there have freely offered their artwork and hints, free of charge … each one helping ME develop in my own quests in art and the business of art.

Now it is my turn to give back – and what better time to start than the first day of a brand spankin’ new year?

366 Textures (since this is a leap year!) is for YOU, the Photographer, the Graphic Artist, the Inquisitive Souls.  Textures can add a subtle (or in-your-face-WOW!) dimension to your photography.  For a quick (and easy to follow) tutorial on using textures, take a look at this how-to video from my friends at White House Custom Colour:

My goal is to post one texture a day.  And if I have time, I’ll show an image that I’ve used with the texture.  I encourage YOU to post links to your projects using the texture – I’m excited to see how you use my offerings!

All textures are available for personal or commercial use.  They are NOT allowed to be resold or to be claimed as your own.  If I set this up correctly, you should be able to right-click and save the texture to your own computer.
